Council on Aging updates spring programming and public health services

Lancaster Council on Aging reviews spring programming and public health services available to residents. The five-member council unanimously approved March meeting minutes during an April 15 meeting at the Prescott Building. Susan Thompson, RN and Public Health Nurse Manager for Nashoba Associated Boards of Health, participated via Zoom to update the council on services including communicable disease investigations, home visits for non-clinical care, and a monthly wellness clinic at the Lancaster Community Center.
The council reviewed programming including a sewing class held April 9, the monthly Friends and Donuts social hour, and upcoming Improv for Healthy Aging sessions, with plans for fall programming including additional sewing classes, musical entertainment, and animal programming.
