Council on Aging charts spring programming; mission statement updated

Lancaster Council on Aging details spring programming priorities and approves mission update. The committee met March 11 to approve prior meeting minutes and finalize program highlights for spring, including SHINE Medicare Counseling services offered the first Monday of each month by appointment, plus upcoming Irish Dance and Photography Basics programming. A revised Council on Aging mission statement was approved for publication on the committee's website.

The committee also plans to participate in Lancaster Day on June 12 with a dedicated table from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The committee continues to recruit for an open MART transportation driver position.
