Council on Aging approves revised mission statement

LANCASTER — Council on Aging approves revised mission statement with all members present. The five-member Council on Aging unanimously approved an updated mission statement at its February 25 meeting. Caitlin Roy, Social Services and Council on Aging Director, reported on strong attendance at the monthly "Chat with a Nurse" program, provided by Nashoba Associated Boards of Health nurse Susan Thompson.

The center is preparing a new multipurpose space adjacent to the gymnasium and transitioning its newsletter, the Crier, from Microsoft Publisher to Canva beginning in fall 2026. The Council on Aging continues efforts to fill a vacant driver position as the MART Connects transportation program ends in mid-March.
