Council on Aging approves minutes, discusses spring programming

LANCASTER — Council on Aging approves prior minutes, launches new Memory Café program in February. All five council members attended the January 21 meeting, unanimously approving November minutes and discussing spring programs. The new Memory Café, starting February 4 and facilitated by Allyson Chalapatas from Manor on the Hill, will provide support for caregivers and individuals with memory loss.
The council also reviewed upcoming programming including Amy Meltzer of the Massachusetts Pollinators Network discussing native plant gardening, and updates on the Sand for Seniors program and the MOC Home Energy Assistance Program.
