Cultural Council pursues direct artist outreach, approves social media strategy pending town approval

Lancaster Cultural Council charts strategy to boost grant diversity. Chair Valorie Parent and council members discussed direct outreach to culturally diverse artists and volunteer program expansion with Local Cultural Council Program Officer Greg Torrales. The council also decided to pursue a Facebook social media account pending Town Administrator approval.

Members identified only one senior-focused grant application in three years and confirmed the FY25 reimbursement deadline will not be extended, with three grants outstanding.
