Cultural Council extends survey, plans grant workshop

Cultural Council · Meeting of May 20, 2026

Lancaster Cultural Council extends survey deadline to June 15, plans August grant workshop. The council met May 20 at Thayer Memorial Library, extending its community survey questionnaire deadline as it prepares for the fiscal 2027 grant cycle. Chair Valorie Parent and council members approved plans for a Lancaster Day tabling event June 12 at 5 p.m. and outlined an in-person or virtual grant application workshop for August.

Council members also reached out to the Community Center after learning the organization was unaware it could apply for council funding, with plans to brainstorm additional local businesses and organizations to encourage grant applications.
