Commission on Disability advances park accessibility improvements
Commission on Disability · Meeting of April 21, 2026
LANCASTER — Commission on Disability coordinates accessibility improvements and summer outreach. Chair Michael McCue reported that an accessible gazebo path at a town park will be permanent rather than temporary, with the construction method still to be determined. The commission also plans to request handicapped parking at Bartlett Park.
Members agreed to coordinate with the Recreation Committee on shared initiatives and will create an informational handout for Lancaster Day on June 12, drafted by Kathleen Suits.
