Conservation Commission continues Hill Top Road hearing

Conservation Commission · Meeting of February 24, 2026

LANCASTER — Conservation Commission continues Hill Top Road home hearing pending wetlands review. The Lancaster Conservation Commission voted unanimously to continue the Notice of Intent hearing for a proposed single-family home at 0 Hill Top Road to March 24, 2026. The 2,000-square-foot home would disturb approximately 1,000 square feet of Buffer Zone to Bordering Vegetated Wetlands, according to applicant estimates.

The Conservation Agent recommended a peer review to confirm resource area boundaries and investigate the presence of an intermittent stream on the property that may flow seasonally during spring snowmelt. Vice Chair Dennis Hubbard Jr. expressed concern about Buffer Zone impacts.
