Conservation Commission approves Hill Top Road home development

Conservation Commission · Meeting of May 12, 2026

Lancaster Conservation Commission approves Hill Top Road home development. The Commission voted unanimously to issue an Order of Conditions for the single-family home project, finding that applicant John Grenier had adequately addressed concerns regarding proximity to vernal pools and water-supply locations. In related action, the Commission ratified an Enforcement Order against South Lancaster Academy for unpermitted paved court construction in protected wetland areas.

The Commission continued five public hearings to May 26, 2026, including a project at 70 McGovern Boulevard where an unmapped certifiable vernal pool was newly identified.
