LANCASTER — Select Board unanimously calls special March town meeting for Fire Department lease authorization. The Lancaster Select Board voted unanimously on January 20 to convene a special town meeting on March 9 at 7 PM at the Middle School to authorize a Fire Department equipment lease. Town Administrator John R.
Woodsmall III outlined three required votes: approval of the lease agreement, authorization to enter the lease, and appropriation of the first year's lease payment. Board Chair Jason A. Allison and members David R.
Carr and Ralph A. Gifford III cited the urgency of the tanker truck delivery.
