Lancaster Conservation Commission approves wetlands permits for two residential projects

Conservation Commission · Meeting of January 6, 2026

Lancaster Conservation Commission approves permits for two residential wetlands projects. The board voted unanimously to issue Orders of Conditions for a detached garage at 38 Seven Bridge Road and a residential septic system at 959 Sterling Road, both involving work in wetlands buffer zones. Conservation Agent Sam Belanger recommended approval for both based on revised plans and design adjustments.

The Commission also voted unanimously to issue an Enforcement Order for 417 Bolton Road, requiring the owner to file a retroactive Notice of Intent for an unpermitted parking lot extension. Owner Brendan Aylward confirmed that no permits had been sought when contractors assumed the impermeable surface did not require permitting.
