Board continues Title 5 variance hearing to April

Lancaster Board of Health continued a Title 5 variance hearing to April 9. Chair Jeffrey Paster, with members Sheila Roach-Mallette and Mackenzie Maloney, approved prior meeting minutes in a unanimous 3-0-0 vote and reviewed two septic permits for Lot 16 Laurel Hill Lane and 20 Poulin Drive. Applicants for a warehouse project at 696 Fort Pond Road requested variances from Title 5 regulations on inlet pipe elevation and tank access depth; Nashoba Associated Boards of Health Agent William J.
Brookings asked for time to review the February 2025 plans before proceeding. The board tracked updates on housing matters at four properties, including a black mold complaint at 60 Prescott Street and pending Fire Chief inspections at two other addresses.
