Board approves septic permits; orders housing compliance letter
Board of Health · Meeting of June 24, 2026
Lancaster Board of Health approves two septic upgrade permits. Chair Jeffrey Paster and members Sheila Roach-Mallette and Mackenzie Maloney (recused on second vote) unanimously approved an upgrade permit for 30 South Meadow Road, which failed a Title V inspection and will have reserve trenches for compliance. A second permit for 310 Mill Street Extension passed 2-0 with Maloney recused.
The Board directed staff to send an enforcement letter to 2790 North Main Street with a July 8 deadline for completion of outstanding work, warning that unresolved issues will trigger Housing Court or condemnation.
