Agricultural Commission awards scholarship, explores farm pass program

LANCASTER — The Lancaster Agricultural Commission unanimously approved a $1,250 scholarship and discussed launching a farm pass program. Chair Peter Jakubowicz reported the state Farm Bill passed the Senate and is moving to the House. Guest Jennifer Brezniak volunteered to develop the Farm Pass program, modeled on a neighboring town's initiative, with the commission exploring compensation for her work.
The commission awarded the scholarship to Uilleam Harper.
