Lancaster Finance Committee reviews FY27 budget with $630,000 Free Cash allocation planned. Acting Chair Roy Rezac and members Emily J. Notaro and Michael Pultorak examined Facilities Department costs, now including Police and Fire maintenance, $20,000 for National Grid, and new cleaning and HVAC services.
Town Administrator John Woodsmall requested an Assistant Town Administrator and proposed moving recreation events to the general fund. A 5-year Capital Plan allocates $327,000 from Capital Stabilization for public safety vehicles, with proposed transfers of $200,000 to Capital Stabilization and $100,000 to OPEB Trust from the town's $1.8 million in Free Cash.
