Lancaster Community Preservation Act Committee reviews applications for housing and capital funding. Chair Marilyn Largey presided over the January 29 discussion of proposals including $22,000 for the Affordable Housing Trust and $50,000 for the Bulfinch Church restoration. Members expressed support for funding the trust, representing 10 percent of the annual CPA levy, to help meet the town's affordable housing and 40B requirements.
The committee agreed to advance the Thayer Field Multi-Use Courts design and engineering phase, deferring construction funding decisions, and will vote on funding recommendations February 26, 2026.
