Board of Assessors approves prior minutes, enters executive session

LANCASTER — The Board of Assessors held a brief open session before entering executive session for classified business. Two members in attendance, Debra Sanders and Kristen Fox, voted 2-0 to approve December 16, 2025 meeting minutes. Principal Assessor Bobbi-Jo Williams reported that the Select Board declined the town's Right of First Refusal for property at 0 Brockelman Road on January 8; the board awaits written decision before issuing a Certificate of Penalty Tax for Roll-Back.
The board voted 2-0 to enter executive session to review and act on 30 FY2027 property classification applications under Massachusetts General Law Chapters 61, 61A, and 61B, along with 60 FY2026 and 6 additional exemption applications.
