Recreation Committee cuts membership to five members

Recreation Committee · Meeting of March 24, 2026

LANCASTER — Recreation Committee approves membership reduction to five members. Thomas Wood, chair, and members Mark Renczkowski, Victoria Fasel, and Sherry Cutler voted unanimously to cut the committee from seven to five members with three-year staggered terms, citing persistent vacancies and alignment with neighboring towns Bolton and Stow. The proposal must reach the Town Administrator by April 11, 2026, for the May town meeting warrant.

A companion proposal updating the committee's powers and duties was deferred pending member feedback due March 31, 2026.
