Cultural Council · Meeting of January 3, 2026

LANCASTER — Cultural Council finalizes FY26 grants, plans community survey to guide future funding. The council confirmed it will hold the maximum $1,640 reserve (20 percent of its $8,200 Massachusetts Cultural Council allocation) and will distribute $3,262 in excess funds to applicants previously approved for partial funding, pending appeals due January 8. The council agreed to conduct its first community survey since 2018, to be distributed via QR code at Town Hall, the Post Office, the Library, and Community Center, with community feedback to become a new criterion in evaluating grant applications.
