The Board of Library Trustees unanimously approved January meeting minutes and endorsed plans by Special Collections Librarian Victoria Hatchell for a summer celebration marking the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. Events will include displays of Revolutionary War era objects from the Library's Museum, a summer reading program themed around the anniversary, and a militia encampment with Revolutionary War reenactors on the Town Green on June 20.
Director Joseph Mulé reported that newly installed library windows require replacement due to design flaws, and the Library has funds available for roof repairs.
